He realizes this is his golden opportunity and has proven as a Sooner that he is deeply talented. I like that AD is his pseudo mentor. Time for Joe to put everyting in past and develop his strong future. Best wishes to him.

I read that Perine struggled. I hope he succeeds. He is awesome.
Was there ever any doubt? Notwithstanding his one egregious mistake, he's the best all around RB in the Stoops era. He would be called a 5 tool player in baseball. An argument can be made for DeMarco Murray but I think Mix on is better overall and while not the violent runner that AD was he has better overall skills.
He is faster than Murray, and can cut on a dime. Just watching him, he clearly is very athletic.
Had Murray not had all those injuries...he was probably equal to AD. But agree you can put Mixon on same platform as AD and Murray. Mixon has exceptional pass catching ability like Murray and great speed like AD. Look forward to seeing him shine like the edge of the eclipse.
Perine should be good too as that goal line specialist. He has to stay healthy. Great guy and wished he had stuck around just one more year. But knowing how unselfish he was, he probably wanted to give Anderson and the young pups their time to grab the glory.
He already has, I bet Molitor has a pretty nice crib right about now.
I thought Joe was the best back in the draft this year.
Ha! and some doubted him in the draft. He's still going pretty cheap in fantasy drafts at this point, but I expect this to change as the pre-season continues.
I don't recall anyone doubting his ability.

True. But that's understandable as Mixon had only two years at OU in addition to character questions, fairly or unfairly.
I don't think it's understandable. I think he's going to rip the NFL up. He's the most talented RB for OU since AD.
