except humans aren't bears. I'd like to think that humans are more civilized. However, looking at who hit the girl, I do not know if he is more civilized than a bear. You could easily make an argument he is not. Then the question is, do we want people in our society who would literally break someone's face over harmless slaps? I urge you too look past the idea of "equality". That's a liberal idea, and liberal ideas have a great tendency to F everything up. In this case, we have people who are sadly saying "that's what you get" about a GIRL.
The reason I know she's harmless is b/c I can judge how much she weighs, which has a great deal to do with generating power and I can draw those conclusions in my head instantaneously. apparently this highly trained athlete cannot. Jesus.
You can't be that stupid. Taking a saying about poking the bear and literally making a comparison of humans to bears. The point, because you clearly missed it, don't start ****, won't be ****. Unless you are trying to be a veiled racist, don't see how you totally miss that point to make such a stupid statement, which wouldn't surprise me given the elitist tone of your replies.
She clearly was escalating the situation when she got in his face, and she assaulted and battered him first. When provoked, fight or flight instinct kicks in, and guess which one is the first instinct of someone that plays football...that's right, instinct was to calm the situation by fight. Was it the best way to handle the situation, no, but it doesn't mean she was a victim. She assumed the risk that **** may go down when she decided to throw the first attack.
So, because of her size and weight she is harmless. Got it. What if when slapping his face she clawed at his eyes, blinding him? Or reach into her purse and pull out something to stab him? Still harmless? You don't know how far she was willing to escalate because Mixon stopped the situation before it got worse.
No one died, and he had an ENTIRE YEAR taken away of his college career over ONE PUNCH. He has done his time for one mistake. He f***s up again, then you look at harsher punishments, but you don't turn your back on a kid because of one mistake. That's how career criminals are made.
