Joey was a five-star kid, it shouldn't be crazy to suggest he should battle for starter minutes. Personally, I love him off the bench as a shooter that brings energy, his stint of starting last year was a disaster, but he still could come off the bench and give us 25 minutes a game.
Defense is the key for more minutes, he's not gonna be an elite defender, but if he can not get beat, he will play more. I love the confidence he plays with and he's never shy to let it fly. The biggest thing going against Joey right now is our roster construction, we have a log-jam at the 3/4 positions. When teams zone us, Joey should get all the minutes he can handle.
