I am hearing he wants to commit to Nebraska but only can if enough room. Remember when 3 star Ameer beat out 2 4 star recruits? Just let him commit.

Don't see how there isn't enough room at this point. We have 4 available scholarships, minus however many we hold back for grad transfers, and only a few prospects left on the board.

At this point the only possible recruits I see left are: Bivens, Houston, Parker. Fonu (maybe), but we haven't visited him since his trip and MPM isn't taking a visit, but I guess it's possible he is still being recruited as well.

Up to this point it looks like we will have room unless Bland is another surprise with Font and MPM..

Even IF Parker and Jordan have told Frost no thanks, you have to keep in their ear because you never know what a 17-18 year old kid is going to do until he hits the deadline. That means you don't just take other kids with downside risk over a kid who is higher on your board. I'm not counting us out on Jordan or Parker until signing day. Wandale flipped. So could Jordan even if he announces TCU now.

Isn't MPM coming this weekend?

And yeah, I think we'll have the room, too.

No Nebraska cancelled MPM’s visit. Bivens was told on his visit they weren’t worried about room for him. It’s something else they are looking into. Don’t know what though. I don’t think it’s the injury issue. Two ACL’s for Ronald Thompkins didn’t keep SEC teams from coming after him late. I’ve heard whispers of grades but those are just rumors.

I think the staff goes ahead and pulls the trigger on Bevins. We're recruiting at a high level, but the depth the walk-on program provides should allow the staff to take a chance on a kid or two each year. I think they take a chance on him and let him compete. If he pans out, then we've got a special talent back there to go along with Washington and whomever else rises to the top.

I am very impressed with his highlights and style of play. This is one I really want regardless of rating because this is one I believe the rating is wrong. Please be N!

Sounds like he is “N” if Frost let’s him commit. I’m guessing Frost is waiting to see where the remaining targets go and if we don’t get the guys up top his list first then Bivens will be ours. With Jordan going TCU and Pola-Mao not making it, and regardless what Parker chooses, there’s a very good chance Bivens will sign for our Huskers on NSD.
