What a joke. The AAA Mexican Baseball League has better control over their umpires uhan the UNCAA.
Shows is actually a good referee. It should have been Higgins and Pat Adams, but I get your point.

My god. They hold their umps RESPONSIBLE for their performance? Such a thing is unheard of!
If you actually pay attention to the games, Shows Hoak given us a pretty good whistle the last few years.
Now, that wasn’t the case earlier in Cals time here. Shows had a real hardon for him the first few years he was here, but something between them changed 3-4 years ago. I actually pay attention to what really takes place during games.
So will it be a block or a charge when there's a collision at the plate? :joy:
I would like to see the catcher duck one. (I used to love playing baseball. I was good too, just not good enough. To those who do not know the intricacies of the game you are missing out. I never was one to watch much because I did get a chance to play at a high level but darn I do think about the "Good Ole days" when it comes to baseball.)

Stupid reply. You can take any ref you want and find terrible calls. It's a shame I even have to point that out.
BTW, Chapman is a complete idiot. I don't give a rats *** about anything he says.
It's just a terrible coincidence, but the Wildcat games that I have seen him call ......... Doug Shows makes a lot of questionable calls against our team. I have not missed seeing a UK game in 92 years.

Whoa dude, don’t get triggered when someone successfully counters your argument. Shows has been a thorn in Cal’s and UK’s side for a long time. And fwiw, Chapman is a bozo for what he’s done off the court but when it comes to what’s happening ON the court, the guy played 12 years in the NBA. He’s forgotten more basketball than your simple mind could ever possibly comprehend.
