I do not know what to think about this. he has been out for a minute, he is already injury prone, and time away and few years older can't help. I see a hamstring injury in his future. Wish all the luck, but father time is undefeated. Go get it Wall, hit that Dougie for old times sake.

There is an article on the front page of Yahoo Sports talking about it. He said he felt he was the 2nd best player is the East behind Lebron in the 16-17 year. That year was his best, he averaged 23.1 points, 10.7 assist, and 2 steals per game.
I'll root for John Wall in anything he does. The excitement he brought back into the program was crazy. I loved Meeks and Pat but Wall made it cool to be a Kentucky fan again after the years they went through.
He was a blast to watch that 2016-2017 season, really good in the 2017 playoffs. That being said it's probably time for him to move on to the next phase of his life. I'm not sure he ever developed the other skills necessary to be great after his athleticism waned.
Time to move on to coaching. I know a good place for him to get started.
Agree, he needs to stay retired. But he was solid at both ends of the floor other than 3 point shooting, career 32%. But as a PG, he was a terror, only other PG from UK faster, MAYBE Fox.

Kind of crazy how Wall and Boogie were ran out of the league prematurely.
There are 100% worse players that are even older on rosters.
Not sure about Wall, but I'd bet money Boogie could still be a starting big and drop 20 and 12 with ease.

I Would say injuries played a bigger part in Wall's career being cut short than playing out of control. His speed was his advantage, Career 20 ppg scorer and averaged over 10 assist per game, I would say he did just fine, just that he had too many injuries that nullified his advantage. A career average of 2.5-1 assist to turn over ratio is NOT out of control, now he might have played a little reckless and not caring for his body, thus getting injured, but he was not out of control. JMO.
