What a disaster that trade has been so far for the Royals. He's given up 5 runs on 3 home runs thru 4 again tonight. Hope he gets it together before the postseason or he may not even get to pitch.
Royals are really stumbling in September. I hop they get the ship righted before the playoffs.
The Royals gave up prospects for that bum. Ughhh. Royals will limp into the playoffs and probably not go far. No one is hitting either and the starting pitching sucks. I'd rather see Guthrie back in the rotation and put Cueto in the pen.
Yeah, in Camden Yards. You and I could probably get homeruns there.Theyve scored 22 runs their last 2 games.
Cueto had been a Twin killer. Royals got him for the Twins because at the point they traded for him I think the Twins were still a threat. Then all the injuries happened to the Twins starting pitching and Perkins. Hindsight is 20/20.Theyve scored 22 runs their last 2 games.
Was listening to a Reds game on satellite radio and they also mentioned Johnny was supposed to show up at a signing event in Kansas City last week. People showed up 2.5 hours early in 90+ degree weather to guarantee an autograph. He never showed and people in KC were very upset. They said that is not like Johnny so something is definitely going on. Not a good thing when you are going into free agency. In a couple of weeks the Royals will need to pick their 25 man playoff roster. You wonder if he will even be on it.
