They reject what was actually said in favor of what they think he really meant to say. Listen to them for one minute (more lengthy concentration on their narrative is easily construed as cruel and unusual punishment) and it is clear that their interest is NOT the gathering and discernment of fact. Theirs is merely political and agenda driven. Ouster of Trump at all costs!
