Jordan is definitely contributing to NCAA tournament team Wright State! My guess is he would have helped our team.

Jordan Ash is getting 16.9 minutes a game and is averaging 4.2 points per game in the Horizon League, not to be confused with the Big Ten. Do you really think he would have helped Northwestern.

Objectively, he'd be playing ahead of Greer. But probably wouldn't make a difference in the W's and L's.

Illinois brought in a grad transfer from Wright State a few years ago who averaged over 20 ppg there. He was overmatched in the BT.

Illinois walkon Mike LaTulip went to Wright State as a grad transfer and started there. Totally different level of competition.

Wright State will have to win their conference tourney to get in tourney. One bid league most years.

I’m happy for the kid. There’s no way he’d be getting 17 minutes a game at NU, so the transfer was definitely good for his basketball life.

Ash may play professionally next year! Today, he led the 13-3 Wright State team with 9, count em, 9 rebounds and 4 of 5 shooting. In the year he is shooting 46% which would have him leading Northwestern! His stats are solid for sure with almost two assists a game.

Wright State down by 25 to UIC in the second half. Looks like the NCAA Tournament dream will die tonight.......

I watched it in person and can confirm Ash was, of course, in a class of his own.

Amazingly NU will not win less tourney games than WS.

Ironically Ash’s career ends at the hands of a Chicago team.

No, as regular season champions of the Horizon League, Wright State is guaranteed a bid in the NIT.

Ash lives to fight another day.

Well, the way things are going today, there might be a chance they'll cancel the NIT. They've already cancelled the CBI and the B1G Tourney and NCAA Tourney are going to be played without fans? Since the NCAA runs the NIT, if they impose the same rules on the NIT, I doubt any teams will be willing to host the opening rounds if they can't charge admission to any fans.

This is all insanity.

Apparently the NIT IS still on. Like the NCAA Tourney, games will be played without fans in attendance.

Is the NCAA going to reimburse the host sites? I wouldn't be "honored" for the expense of hosting an NIT game without the ability to charge for admission. I'm genuinely curious.
