maybe the new FR will help. we sometimes under estimate the impact of Jordan's leg changing field position.

As a punter...yes. I won't miss the missed fg's against Illinois, Michigan. The chippie fg against MSU plus the extra point...
yea I was referring to punting and a beast on KO. he was marginal place kicker and not sure why he was not replaced by Pinegar as PK

Wasn’t Pinnegar hurt for a good portion of the year? I seem to remember reading that.
But I do agree I don’t like one guy doing all 3 unless it’s an emergency
If Pinnegar was hurt that would explain it. I thought Franklin was trying to save his year of eligibility. If he was hurt that would be the reason

#1 issue will be the kicking game.
#2 issue will be OL play/depth
#3 issue will be LB play

Otherwise this squad is pretty talented but those are three glaring issues. I suspect it will be a very challenging during the early going but the team should be a lot better in November than they are in September. Expect a few Fr to inject themselves into the picture by the end of the year.

Good list but I think I would put QB play at #1, OL at #2 and Kicking at #3

I think that is what Matt Millen said. He said talent at WR, TE, RB and QB depth. OL the key item and Clifford stepping up.

On D he was all over the LB position, but did like Jacobs. Millen's comment on DL did assume PJ is back in full force at NT. Not sure we have a true backup for him right now. A ton of outstanding 3T DTs though. He also mentioned the edge rush/DE. I think our edge may turn into a positive surprise. can we stop the power running?

Coaching is #1, always. The rest is irrelevant.

I can see why he would be all over the LB'rs. Its just not his style of LBU. ;)

Stout is the best punter we have ever had. He saved games for us and kept us close in games we should have won.
