Freshmen Parnell Motley and Chanse Sylvie could be two newcomers to receive playing time this season at cornerback. My hunch is that by mid-August at least one will be getting rave notices by teammates and coaches.

And we have a 3-game winning streak on the Sooners. The last win was a 24-0 shutout. Cute little Sooners! Now put the machine guns down and go to class.
The 1960 (3-6-1) and 1997 (4-8) were poor teams, among the 5 worst OU teams since WWII.
The 1959 team had 12 players out due to being poisoned the Thursday night before the game in a Chicago restaurant.
The starting center, Jim Davis and his backup Bob Scholl....co-captain T Gilmer Lewis....the number 1 and number 2 quarterbacks (Boyd and Page)....fullback Ronnie Hartline...number 1 halfbacks Carpenter and Hobby....among several others were among the victims.
Ara Parsegian's team won 45-13 as OU fumbled 5 times, had a punt (quick kick) blocked and a lateral intercepted for a TD. Plus Northwestern's kicking game pinned OU deep on a few occasions.
Northwestern had one of its few decent years that year going 6-3-0 and may or may not have been the better team that particular day...but it's not a reach to say the win was somewhat tainted.
So....enjoy your team's success....a team that's won 34% of its games since 1959.

"Northwestern" and "fan" largely don't exist together much like water and oil. I've never seen anybody wearing Northwestern stuff like hats and t-shirts. My boss at my previous employment was a Northwestern grad, and he was an idiot. He tossed a bunch of turds up in the air and ran before they hit the fan. Then, I was left cleaning up his messes.
I was thinking along the same lines, possibly 2 game suspension.
What I've read is no suspension. I won't go any further do to the fact this site has a pay site for such info..............

I was told it would be handled over the summer no suspension. He drank and got in a skirmish. No big deal. Happens all the time without arrests.

I would be very surprised if Jordan can make it through the entire season without getting into trouble again. Isn't this his 3rd or 4th time something like this has happened? I personally wouldn't depend on the guy so hopefully Bob is going to have someone more prepared then last year to step in
He was arrested previously for an unpaid traffic ticket. Big felony guy there.
Actually Thomas was suspended twice before that traffic ticket incident. I guess this would be his fourth time either being in trouble with Stoops and/or the authorities. Not a great record there
