UK's biggest recruiting issue under Stoops/Marrow has been the best part of this class and that is the DL.
Jack OLB - Alex King
DT - Whitaker and Hoskins
NT - Bohanna...maybe Hoskins grows into a NT?
DE - Pashcal
Sam - Jordan Wright
That has been the hardest part to stack our DL under Stoops and is by far the strongest part of this good recruiting class.

Honestly...I'm suggesting but don't know for sure. I'd argue for a size standpoint the SAM and Jack both look more like the body type of Jordan Wright and Alex King moreso than an interior DE spot.
Wright and King both have the potential to play at JACK, but there honestly isn't that much difference between a JACK and a SAM in the 3-4. They are both OLBs that are the size of smallish defensive ends and usually have pretty good speed. Whoever proves to be the better pash rusher of the two will likely end up playing at JACK.
The team's biggest weakness will soon be a strength. We will have pass rushers out the wazoo. I still have high hopes for Bonner and Bannerman from last year's class. Good day to be a Cat!

Re Hoskins, think Miggins...DE/DT. Don't think he has a NG body.
I love his list of teams that wanted him. We didn't have to beat out a MAC team to get him!
Now the question is...How many more will UK accept and does that mean that some of our commits will be asked to greyshirt or will be asked to "flip" to another school on signing day?

Totally agree....This is what we've been hoping for on the D-Line. I believe this will ensure we are competing at a high level in the SEC in the future!!
Ware and Middleton will be total Beasts next season.

Agreed. Wright more of the pass rusher and king more of the coverage guy... but both are athletic.
Totally agree...we won with our OL/Rushing game this year to hide our defense. I think the next 3 years we'll be able to win games with our defense more than trying to hide them.
If Kenegra Daniel can take a huge step and position himself at the DE spot to go along with Middleton, Ware and Allen we'll be on to something next year. I am hoping Pringle/Elam can be just adequate at NT. Super psyched on the future DL at UK in a long time. Hopefully this can rival our Pryor, Peters, Jarmon, Ventrell Jenkins front DL.
