This guy has had career games every time out against us. Scoring through the air and on the ground he has been the difference in all four match up during his career.
I said it earlier in the week in another thread that he could be the difference unless the staff finally put together and executed an effective game plan for him.
Obviously we saw what happened.
His performance yesterday I believe serves as a final notice on the CMS and Elliot defense top to bottom. From overall scheme/philosophy to recruiting, developing, teaching of technique and fundamentals, game planning and execution.
5 total scores from one guy. 223 yds through the air, 147 on the ground. That is unacceptable at this point in the CMS era. Especially since we all knew who this kid was and what he could do. It's not like it was a situation where UT threw in some kid nobody had seen or prepared for.
UT goes as Dobbs goes, has been that way his entire career.
UL is the last chance. If LJ hangs a basketball score, a complete overhaul on the defensive side of the ball is a must.
Things were looking good, but I'm afraid UT really showed where things are really at and going or not going.
