So, wouldn't that lawsuit be better targeted towards the Government?

Huh?

The federal government doesn't get sued for a law with a perceived flaw or a flaw. Motions are filed in US District court and if necessary, go on to the Supreme Court. Maybe you guys mean the ATF could be sued for classifying the gun as non-military when it should have been classified as a military weapon?

I think the main thing in this case, and I don't necessarily agree with it, is there is a part of the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act that opens the door for this suit.

"Joshua Koskoff, a lawyer for the families, argues there is an exception in the federal law that allows litigation against companies that know, or should know, that their weapons are likely to be used in a way that risks injury to others."

Another kook looking for a "bloodmoney " payday.

To start ... this has nothing to do with your opinion, only the quote.

That has to be the dumbest thing I've heard. Any weapon or any tool could be used in a way that risks injury to others.

Maybe such an exception exists ... if it does, that's pretty stupid.

Now, if there is some defect in something that causes injury or damage, sure I can see that. But if something operates as it's intended, but somebody uses it for nefarious purposes ... that's on the person.

Implication that FOX NEWS is fair and balanced........when you want it to be.
I've linked their stories before. I don't think that Fox News or anyone else would question that Fox News is a right wing, conservative news and opinion organization. They are also capable of the straight forward reporting of a news story like what I linked.

By Gov't, yes, I specifically meant the ATF.

I have conceded many times that FOX news is slanted to the right. Do you agree that ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN,PBS and MSNBC are slanted to the left? CNN only has a slight tilt to the left.

I think that MSNBC is probably left leaning but feel free to make your case for the others. I don't watch anyone's rehash of the news/opinion shows.
