I'm in shock. I could see a reduction of the suspension but not this. I actually believe this decision is terrible for the NFL and things are going to get worse.

I figured this was gonna be the outcome from what the judge has been saying, they really never had much hard evidence that Brady actually did anything, not saying he did or didn't but you do have to prove it. My thing was that if it was serious enough to suspend him for four games it should have been serious enough to vacate the win! lol

You sure go into shock easy. Did you actually believe someone could deflate and check 15 footballs in a little over a minute.

The judge wasn't in a position to do that. He could either rule for the league or for Brady. He tried encouraging them to come to some kind of agreement/compromise which might have been a reduced suspension but when they didn't do that it became all or nothing.

Was it all 15? Checking them would be hard, just deflating them slightly wouldn't be.

And if it was strictly atmospheric, why weren't the balls the Colts were using deflated?

Why destroy the cell phone the day he was to meet with investigators? Why not just cooperate with the investigation?

In the end, it all came down to a bunch of circumstantial evidence, which wasn't enough.

I am no fan of Brady or the cheating Pats but it is good to see Goodell get smacked down hard. He has been out of control for a long time.
