I love the way she puts her hands on her hips and just stands up to that microphone in this video. All 5' of her probably.

Friday (3/7) is the birthday of Peter Blankenfield. He's more commonly known by his stage name, Peter Wolf. He was a founding member of the group that John "J" Geils formed, the J. Geils Band, where he was the lead vocalist, and co-wrote most of their songs. He was with the band from 1967 to 1983, when a difference in directions that members of the group wanted to take the band caused him to dismissed from the band. To celebrate:
Friday (3/7) was the birthday of the late, great, (Francis) Rocco Prestia. He was not a founding member of the group (when they were the Motowns), but he joined as the bassist shortly after they changed their name to Tower of Power. To celebrate:

Pretty amazing with some of the groups that are in. It seems like that whole group has been mostly snubbed. Boston, Kansas, Styx, Foghat, Toto, Bad Company, Reo Speedwagon, J. Geils Band, BTO, Grand Funk Railroad. If you were from the early 70's and into the 80's they have not been kind to you.
Saturday (3/8) was the birthday of the late, great, Randall Meisner. He was more commonly known as Randy Meisner. He was a founding member, and the bassist, for the Eagles. He left the band toward the end of 1977, after a messy altercation with Glenn Frey, after Meisner refused to sing his trademark song during a concert in Knoxville.
