U of I Band - townies from Champaign I think. Sold a lot of records, and for good reason.
I'll be seeing John Fogerty perform next Tuesday, June 4th, at the Credit One Stadium on Daniel Island in Charleston, SC. Opening act is George Thorogood and the Destroyers. Place should be rocking.
I'm jealous. I've never seen Fogerty in concert. GT & the Destroyers can rock, so as you indicated, it should be a good concert.
You and I are much too old to be going to, and enjoying, rock concerts. Let's toast to the old farts who still love the music of the 60's and 70's.
