Back in the late 70’s WDVE in Pittsburgh would do a contest where they edited together a snippet of 5 songs and listeners would call in with their guesses to win prizes. I was freshman at CMU and me and couple buddies worked at winning contest by a combination of our musical knowledge and what would be spread sheet type process of elimination. We were first to get 4 and we got to meet Steve Hansen and Little Jimmy Roach and got box full of albums. But no one could get the 5 song. Went on for a while we scoured every record we could find listening for 4 beat snare fill Zep, James Gang a bunch of others. Finally the station announces that Monday morning they will play the song no one could get. And lo and behold the part no one could get was the snare drum fill after he says “hail Atlantis” da da da da . We were all F! There it is! Figure every radio listener in the Burgh was calling in after that cause we could not get in. But every time I hear that song have this flashback
