He took on Ty Rodgers (Michigan, MSU, Ohio State offers) and state title contender Grand Blanc and finished with 29 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Controlled the game wire to wire and threw down a thunderous dunk on Rodgers in the fourth. Definitely a strong Mr Basketball candidate

Nice plays, but have to get used to the level of showboating after each make... but I’ll live with it if he can make these plays at a big ten level!

Agreed, it seemed like a lot and I'm surprised he didn't get a tech. That being said, a lot of us have complained that we don't have that Alpha Dog scorer down the stretch or the guy who plays a little chippy or gives the hard foul when we need it (Sanjay Lumpkin). So maybe Roper has the personality to develop into that guy.

It was an emotional game. Some hard fouls, jawing back and forth. He did get a tech after a dunk I think.

The coaches and ADs are supposed to be enforcing proper mask use, but refs are doing it too now. Some ADs in my son’s conference flagged his team and an opponent after photos were published. He’s been wearing a mask properly (God help him if his mother catches him chinning it), and there needs to be a more concerted effort to enforce the rules. It’s also a question of fairness.

That's good context. I like a guy who plays with some emotion, we need players who simply hate losing. And I can't even imagine trying to enforce the mask rules with athletics (Good for them for trying, but man that's an uphill battle).
