That and 1) The bottle of "liquid" poured on him shows premeditation. 2) What homophobic attackers are out stalking an obscure gay actor at 2:00am with a bottle of "liquid". 3) If they were just looking for a gay man to attack and just stumbled upon the actor, why not attack the number of other gay local residents.

The story has never added up from day 1.

I had my doubts about it, once they claimed it was two white guys carrying a noose on the streets of Chicago at 2:00 a.m. They wouldn't have lasted long.

What's scary is the number of these homophobic/racist hoaxes.

What drives someone to go through all of that trouble to stage such an event? Mental illness?
