At the end of the day it’s just a game. Too many more important things to bicker about than a game. We are alive and healthy. We are able to get on here and lift each other up or tear a bunch of teenagers down who A. Don’t read this thread and B. Could care less what we say about them. Too many people on here who are in bad health. Let’s just give thanks for the health we still have and be thankful that Jesus Christ himself hasn’t called us home. I wish each and everyone of you a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving. As always GTHC!!!

Man I wish I could like this 10,000xs... I bleed duke blue and when the game ended I was angry and such for a couple minutes... but you are totally right in it’s just a game, a game in November against a damn good team. Don’t let haters get you down, the best thing you can do is ignore them.

My 4 year old has been going through some health issues and it really puts into perspective what is important in life and what to focus all your emotional well being on... like I said I bleed duke blue and I was angry but in the end life goes on... this team will match on and get better... happy thanksgiving everyone. Enjoy the time with loved ones and be safe duke fam!

Same here bro! My daughter has some stuff going on and it just doesn’t matter. She goes to Duke Childrens a few times a year and the care she gets makes me love that place even more. Thanks man I really appreciate that! It’s really tough but I know that things can be so much more worse. My daughter loves watching games with me and love how into she gets. Great post, Dadz!

There are far more important things than a basketball game (even though all of us love Duke basketball). If a person can't keep perspective on the things that are important...then they need to step back and take a look at their life.

And here's the other thing, no one should be worried about losing this game. We lost to an excellent team, but we played hard, and with heart. We're going to be just fine...in fact more than fine. Worry about something else, 'cause these Devils can play, and they're only going to get better.
