Coach Stoops needs to hire an Offensive and Defensive Coordinator with some history at the positions. I'm talking some older guys with experience. Just throwing some guys out of left field but what if he went back to his Youngstown, OH roots and brought in Bo Pelini as Defensive Coordinator and then brought in Mark Mangino as Offensive Coordinator? Don't bash just throwing out names. What's your thoughts?

It certainly sounds like a good idea. I just don't know how much money the University is willing to put out for some known folks. A part of me wonders if Coach Stoops is willing to turn over total control of either the offense or defense to his co-ordinators and concentrate on managing the whole operation. He doesn't have to have an absolute plan on 'fixing' the offense or defense, but his coordinators need to.
Mangino got fired at Iowa St for bitching with his HC, who was eventually fired too. He also has a long history of abusing his players. Why would UK or anybody else want to hire a goon and a bully? I hope to hell UK can do better.
