We finished last year 1-3 in our last four games. With the lone win coming in overtime against Iowa.

You guys are missing my point. We are literally living two realities.
Before Wisconsin
&
After Wisconsin
Before Wisconsin the players willed themselves to victory. After Wisconsin we almost look for ways to lose. And Wisconsin was the nail in the old coach's coffin. Remember the Southern Cal game and the throw instead of Tommy running for the endzone. It was damn near an exact replay of decision making. The mental aspect is being greatly ignored with our situation IMO.

I honestly cannot tell what you're trying to say, which to be brutally honest, is how I feel about most of the stuff you post. Are you saying TA is a mental midget? Are you saying we're as bad or worse than we were last year? Are you saying there's still a chance we beat Iowa?

I can't tell if you're saying this bodes well for us or not

I can tell you this doesn't bode well for the kids. This years Wisconsin game really bothered me. I wonder if the athletic department is working this issue with the correct amount of due diligence.

I guess some just can't read between the lines...
Ok then, how about this.
Bo was literally a cult leader to these impressionable kids. And they protected him whenever his goose was about cooked. Their allegiance isn't to Nebraska... it's to Bo. And their play has bore that out. I think we need an intervention or something to that effect.

I think you are really giving BO way to much credit for having control over these guys - Yes I am sure some were aqll in with Bo - but I am also sure some just went along for the ride and others did not care for Bo

After all who leaked the final meeting at he high school - had to be a player and certainly not one in Bo's corner - Kids are just looking to have some fun play some ball and win they will follow anyone that can provide that

Our coaching staff needs to figure out why our leaders like Gerry, Collins, Tommy and Lewis are not showing up with 1:00 left to play??? While the like of Janovich are giving everything they have??? We have six games left and somebody needs to get some answers quick.

And Riley is 2-14 in his last 16 conference games.

I just really hope we start winning some games so that people can stop blaming Bo for everything that goes wrong. If Riley cannot get these guys to buy in after 10 months of leading them, then he is a weak leader.

And Riley is 5-15 against P5 teams since 2013 - last year means nothing

Yeah, you're right...not having our best 2 players from a squad that finished last season 1-3 (with the only win coming after falling behind Iowa big) and missing half of our starters on defense this year...means absolutely squat this year.

Great point.
Just the injury situation along with our depth problem would doom most teams. But we need to find that little extra to finish these games. I want to see Gerry knock down that deep pass on the final drive. I wanna see Collins get that sack on third down with the game on the line. Tommy make a great fake and run for the game winning touchdown. And Alex making that critical block to spring Tommy! That what i want to see. I'm so pulling for a great team effort against Minnesota and a win.

Rover I simply don't have the vocabulary to accurately describe how weird you sound, and when you say "you can't make this stuff up" I laugh, because you've been doing it this entire thread.

I don't see how that is possible with players so psychological scarred. Now if Eichorst and Perlman do an intervention, who knows what could happen.

If i was Riley i would of had a team meeting after the Wisconsin game. It would of been one of the come to Jesus meetings with tables flying. i would of point blank called everyone out and asked "do you want to win for Nebraska or lose for Bo?" Cause that's exactly what the hell it looks like! Then the chairs would of been next. There is nothing wrong with some well placed motivation and asking for some responsibility.

Rover, I appreciate what you're trying to say, but that sounds a little too much like Bo. Maybe leave the furniture where it sits…

Red I see offensive coordinator under you're name but your last post makes me think you'd be better as a defensive coordinator.

I do think a come to Jesus moment has to happen with this team. Something isn't right and if doesn't get fixed soon, the will and desire, it is going to be the long season that some of our "fans in name only" want.

I disagree. Every once in a while a well thrown table will do wonders as a motivational tool. :)

My nickname was killer when i played defense back in old days. And yeah, the team needs to get this out into the open. It's now or never cause we only have six games left.
