I love watching all our old tunnel walks from 96-2003. Even the first tunnel walk in 04 was good. But what I’ve noticed is ecspecially in big games (Notre Dame 01) the players weren’t walking in the tunnel walk. They were jumping and yelling and you can tell they were fired up. Even watching it through YouTube it puts a lump in my throat and just amps you up. I feel that we have everything in place to bring that kind of atmosphere back to this place now. I hope that the boys in our state grow up wanting to wear that red N on their helmet and running out of that tunnel again. We are such a special place, and it’s sad that we lost that for a while but I think this is the beginning of something extremely special.

I’ve been saying the same thing for 3 years..... I still have the 94,95,& 97 National Championship games and when they say the prayer before the game and start to go out there was definitely a different feel to the teams enthusiam in my mind. I bet we see a little change in this over the next few years though.
The early ones with the animation are still my favorite
Those uniforms they wore in 2001 were my favorites. I wish they would bring back the red socks and black shoes. Very cool look.
You can see the suck starting to creep in with Lil Red running out of the tunnel, that mascot needs to go, asap.
My favorite is the one where the 3 Sears Trophys hit the turf,,,, boom, boom, boom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ve said this quite a bit. He was funny and unique at first but should not be something permanent. We want to be feared not an overgrown kid. But then I am also not happy about the big ten family gathering commercial where we are represented by the little curly red headed girl...
I always think one of the best ones was 2001 Rice (the 9/11 game that had to be rescheduled)
