- an ugly win is better than a pretty loss
- No offense to Greene, but I think we’ve found our passer
- There’s going to be a lot of talk about HCNB’s future…and just my two cents: we are now in year five of this experiment and the squad should be farther along than it is. If HCNB wants to keep this job then WIN a bowl game…..not just go to one…but win it.

At this point, I think Greene is by far better than Marchiol. Only because of experience. I think Marchiol in time will get better

#1 - Yes!
#2 - No!
#3 - Yes, but sneaking in at 5-7 or 6-6 won't cut it either.

Receivers had a couple bad drops but Nicco had some very bad throws. With time I do think he will be the QB we need.

lf i were in charge it would be 8 wins plus a bowl victory and he can have another season of his contract. So 9 total at the end of the year or he's gone.

Greene is a better passer than Marchiol. The play when Clement was wide open and he couldn't get him the ball shows he needs to impove as a passer. I saw him play in high school and most thought that is the area he needs to work on the most.

The decision to keep Brown will be made long before the bowl game. If you wait until after the bowl game all the A lister coaching candidates are gone and you're left with table scraps.

So what you're saying is if we go 6-6 and win a lower tier bowl he should keep his job

Wet balls tend to slip out of hands? Esp in the cold or am I missing something?

You always miss things. Greene is more accurate of a passer he would have gotten the ball to clement especially when he was that wide open. BTW if we win 10 or more games should Neal Brown be fired if we lose the bowl game? You mind clarifying that one for us because I don't think most would be happy with a 7-6 season if it included a bowl win.

I wouldn't say Greene is more accurate. I would say he is more experienced and the game isn't as fast to him as it is to Marichoil right now and he gives us a better QB play because of it. I also will say that these two games will be invaluable in Marichoil's future as it he is very raw in the college game. Need to be patient with inexperienced QB's. unless you do have the rare exception which he isn't.

I think Greene is the better option as well. He has a better feel for the offense at this time. I hope he plays this week. Tcu's pass defense is one of the worst in Division 1. This is an opportunity to try and get the passing game going in the right direction.

Are you seriously going to base his performance on one dropped pass to Clement? Did you bother to watch the 4th quarter when conditions improved? And Greene ain't that accurate of a passer. I was also very clear about my stance on HCNB. If you don't agree..that's fine..you don't have to...my views are mine....and your views are yours.

Neal is 4-1 in Bowl games all time and 1-1 at WVU.

Greene has issues hitting the intermediate passes. Those passes are critical especially if you want to involve a TE downfield. Greene is perhaps a better mobile QB and can roll out better to throw on the move. But he relies on his legs more than his arm. But he is not any more accurate than Nicco. Going by experience and game play he does have that advantage by 2 years. Throws a decent deep ball but also some of those are short and the WR has to stop and turn around to waive fair catch.

People being critical of one pass to a WR wide open is insane. Especially on a cold, wet and foggy day.

Best thing Greene has over Nicco is speed and experience.
