Okay. When discussing basics of compliance and NIL, it is best to do it accurately because some people who visit this site do not know the rules. There actually are fans who believe NIL means schools can pay players now. The difference between illegal and somewhat legal is an important distinction. BTW, Chuck Person, Jeremy Pruitt, and Will Wade would probably contest your suggestion that nothing is being done.

There is a great contingent of players in this class from here in Georgia. Wilcox had an unbelievable season in Douglasville. Ohio State took a good look at him and offered. Hugh Freeze really wanted him. He should be a good player for us. Grant Godfrey is the son of Randall Godfrey. If you never saw dad play, just wait to see Grant. Another great signing. Tavion Gadson is a multisport athlete who was regional player of the year in their east Georgia district. They play good football in Savannah. These players will help us.
If Grant is half the player Pops was UK will be blessed.
Grant Godfrey is an awesome high school Lbacker. His dad was an inside Lbacker. The son may end up playing on the edge, but he can do either. He is coming to Kentucky at the right time because he will be an important player on a good defensive unit with good TV coverage and NFL scout attention.
Yes sir, you just identified 3 players that,IMO, will be star contributors to our football team. All 3 played in quality programs in districts that compete at the highest levels.
