I prefer 2001 Duke's resume. They won the Triple in a tougher ACC. After the buzzer beater in the ACC Semi-Final, Duke would defeat every remaining opponent that season by double digits

While 1992 Duke had close finishes in the NCAA Tournament. Logically they were probably worse down the stretch against the Vegas spread. Also it took a legendary performance and arguably the iconic NCAA Tournament play to get past an upstart Kentucky team.

Versatility was a strength of both squads but I prefer 2001's bench. I think this team could find more different ways to win. BUT I do believe 1992 has the best player on the court....

Beating UConn isn’t a qualifier for me. That team was incredible regardless. In a 7 game series, they’d beat just about any team in NCAA history. I don’t even question it. That ‘99 UConn game is a mystery beyond mysteries.

The 99 title game wasnt basketball, it was basketbrawl.

if they were playing best of 7 92 but as we all know anything can happen in a one game scenario. Any one of our championship teams plus 99 could win on a given night imo. Somehow that 2001 team would be right there.
