Any insight as to why K gave Roy the blow by in the hand shake line??

K was different in the post game presser. Duke UNC has and will always be bigger then any individual player but both coaches start out talking Zion. I continue to be amazed by the Zion effect.

Very rarely if ever have I seen K do that in the post game handshake line. He seemed sort of demoralized as well.

Yeah he was just as taken back as the team.

Pretty telling. I doubt K has ever wanted greatness as bad as he does for this team. He always wants it, each group is special, but he knows what he has here.

I saw it, too. Nothing looked good from a Duke perspective last night....that included.

I'm going to play devils advocate here. It didn't look good but when you combine the emotion of losing your best player with frustration of how we played, coupled with the pretty terrible endless charging calls, I suspect it was nothing but frustration. I'm sure you guys saw it, but after yet another charge call last night, the camera showed K mouthing go F yourself (or something to that effect) to the ref. I agreed with his sentiment in that moment. When it rains it pours I guess. But yeah, it didn't LOOK good. Apologies for the language in this post.

I am not sure about all the talk on the ref's, they had nothing to do with this loss, sure maybe a couple of charge calls that went against Duke, but come on........Duke shot terrible, did not get back in transition after bad 3 point shots, 2 guys on the whole team could create their shot and Duke shot 40 3's and made hardly any.

The ref's where not the issue tonight. Zion went down and Duke responded terrible and AOC and White played REALLY bad to boot.

They are friends so I think too much is being read into it.

K and Roy aren't really friends. They're competitors with a mutual respect for one another. Not friends.

The refs played zero part in the outcome last night. Zero. But like in every game, there were questionable calls....those calls get scrutinized even more when nothing goes your way.

How else are you supposed to act after a loss? Hold a conversation? No thank you. I need to get away ASAP before a fight break out. I hate good losers.

K couldn't even look Roy in the eye when he just blew by him. It was a classless act by K that made him look like a sore loser. Nothing last night looked good for Duke.

I dont even think coach cared about the loss but was more worried about his player

Its ok to admit that it didn’t appear to be one of his better moments after a loss.

It was a really quick walk by from K. Roy tried to talk to him and K kept on walking

Roy always wants to grab the arm of the opposing coach during the handshake and whisper seeet nothings to their face generally after a UNC win. I''ve seen Roy do the "drive by" handshake to K after losses ALSO. Hats off to UNC but screw their slimeball, cheating coach. He's trash and screw the car he's promoting too. "Those are hooves Roy?" Theirs my posterior Roy-

Okay, it wasn't K's finest hour. But the fact we have to take note of it says volumes about how K has conducted himself and the Duke program. We've seen him go into opposing teams locker rooms and congratulate them, and he always gives credit to the opposing teams. I know of a coach that leaves his scrubs on the floor, at the end of a game, to get mobbed while the starters and him escape. So, yeah, one small slight doesn't wreck K's legacy of good works, and sportsmanship. No one is perfect.

K is a great man and excellent coach... but that is something that Cal would do. Still, we all have our moments, it happens.

Probably a combination of things. Losing and concerned about Zion, had no answer for a good Cheater team, and for those counting that’s 3 out of the last 4 games Duke has lost in this series. He just didn’t feel like conversing and I don’t blame him

We did not lose because of the refs. However, I am at NCAA Division III with glorified HS refs. The refs last night make our guys look awesome in comparison. I have not been this pissed at refs since GT in Cameron 2004...

The reffing was not that bad. Very few fouls called both ways, all the charges were legit... we got spanked by a better team.. Luke Maye had an over the back they missed and there might have been a couple others, but nothing that would have saved up from a butt whooping.

We lost. It's ok, Zion should be back and we can get revenge.

Putting myself in Coach K's shoes, I hate losing much more than I love winning. This is especally true if I am at least partially responsible for the loss. Coach K seemed as dazed by the loss of Zion as the players in the floor. One of the top 2 or 3 best coaches of all time in any sport did not make the kind of game modifications that we've seen him make coubtless times before. The man to man was being eaten up, but he didn't bring the team out ready to try zone on the second half. He didn't even go into the press with Goldwire (that5 was a marvel aginst Louisville) until there was less than 4 minutes left. Why wait until it was too late?

I think he was upset with himself. I also think they will come out spitting nails from here on out...
