Vaunted SEC finishes bowl season with a 5-7 record while BIG12 is 5-2. BIG12 is 3-0 this bowl season over SEC. Over the last two seasons SEC is 12-9 while BIG12 is 10-2. Is the SEC over rated? It is for sure very top heavy. OU will be fine and will be fighting for titles in the SEC. Oh, and Riley's PAC12 is 0-7 the last two years.

The SEC is a top-heavy conference with Alabama and Georgia representing the "big toes" of an overrated conference. But I'm not sure one can claim there's a stronger conference, or that the SEC is a weak conference based on the SEC's 5-7 bowl record. for one season.
So beating an SEC team that is not Alabama or Georgia may not be as meaningful as SEC haters believe.
LSU was without a ton of players (with a WR playing QB) and from what I read 2 days ago, it had all of 38 players.....similar to Florida playing without 15 key players vs OU last year. (This is why ATM cancelled its appearance with Wake Forest: not because it "feared" losing to a 10-3 Wake Forest team, but because it "feared" losing to ANY team.)
But I liked Kansas State beating LSU, under any circumstances.

Hate LSewer and why Brian Kelly speaks about family is a joke. Square peg round hole that hiring.

Heard on espn last night after the game when they were talking about the SEC's abysmal bowl record this year, they put some spin on it and said the SEC will get the last word Monday Night.
