Yes, I am hypocritical at times, and yes, there are some commonalities among people (for example, usually assuming the best case scenario for people on "your side").... but I and others are still a little different than you and some others.
Our coach made a quip about leadership and Twitter that was a tiny jab at our current President, who is known, by conservatives and liberals alike, to have a somewhat unhealthy relationship with Twitter. No big deal, a little funny, since K doesn't say much usually. I posted about it.
Several people posted, right and left, it didn't seem like a big deal. Obviously people who support Trump don't like it, and people who don't support Trump got a laugh out of it.
Then you posted some thing about lefties burning stuff when they don't like what was said. You know, some strange sweeping generalization that was sort of out of place.
I gently mocked you a bit, ending with the pretty specific point that I am not a fan of sweeping generalizations based on the actions of a few.
That's sort of it. You then started in on the Democrats from the 60s and the need to read textbooks and hypocrisy and the like, although I am not sure where you were going with it.
But yeah. There are some commonalities among all people. But there are differences. Some, for example, seem comfortable posting some hugely generalized statements; I don't. Some folks don't like entertainers stating public opinions; I never minded when Scott Baio or Clint Eastwood stating public opinions, because they are Americans, and that is their right. So yeah, there are differences between people, as you might expect.
