You guys keep pushing me and I'll do it....I'll drop a email.

Went over your head clearly. The purpose is direct contact. Like I said when there's a crowd people are tougher than they actually are. But I know none of you guys are on that type of stuff. So let me continue getting on your nerves haha

I should probably email this to you, but crowds have never affected my "toughness" , LOL. You're so damn weak minded. It's actually funny how cocky you act while 98% of the board is laughing behind your back. But please, keep the show going, you're the only comic relief we have around here lately.

He has to stop with these excuses like this. He could’ve kept that to himself. Makes him look worse.

In retrospect K probably should have let the moment pass w/o a mention. I am sure it was serious, and I know K was speaking the truth.

However trying to take my Duke blinders off just briefly, K is a big media target so the click baiters will have a field day. I really dont think he meant it as an "excuse," but probably was fed up w/hearing about the loss.It came across somewhat as an alibi , and we shoudnt detract from SFA's upset in anyway. They outworked us and outcoached us. OFC

Hope we don't lose tonight, this place might just implode.

Dirt I don't want to even think about it. I don't know if
I can take the second guessing, playing bashing, Coach K should have done this, Coach K should have done that, body language, coaches disposition or who's for sure to transfer. If we lose I will just make a simple post and move on. I may not even do that and not even look at the game day thread.Just don't want to see it. So please DUKE WIN. OFC

I don't like it. It comes across as an excuse for the loss to anyone who reads it. And if it's not meant to be an excuse at least in some way, then why even mention it? Not a good look.

I get how overdoing it can definitely become annoying, but I also don't get how some on here hate any criticism at all. When our players make an awesome play or have an amazing game, I'm going to give them props and celebrate it. If they don't play well, or I think they coaching staff made some questionable decisions, I don't see what's wrong with voices that either. It's all part of being a fan. Being unhappy with play or coaching doesn't make you less of a fan and it doesn't mean you're not supporting the team.

Granted, I understand it's generally the manner in which those opinions are voiced that rubs people the wrong way.

I get what you are saying and I get my say in too about poor free throw shooting, getting beat down court for layups after we make baskets, getting beat inside on layups tie after time, going to the slow down game way too early etc. etc. etc. I'm am guilty of all these. The thing that irritates me is when the game thread when we lose goes on for pages and for days. Of course we have the trolls but we rarely read a lot of them because our mods sit up all night deleting and banning them. What we don't need is our own fan base who only seem to come on when we are not playing well or lose a game and rant about poor coaching or poor play. I don't understand what motivates them at all. I can only imagine what this board would need like in the early to mid 70's with teams now like we had then. Really I do know, we wouldn't have a very strong board at all if any at all. If I stepped on any toes I'm not gonna apologize but it's not personal either. We are all Duke fans and we do stand on common ground. I guess we all express ourselves in different ways. OFC

I've always looked at it like this. Say we lose tonight.....
Saying things along the lines of: Our guys suck, Javin is a waste of a scholarship, Moore is terrible and a walking turnover, I wish Jack never shot a three again, etc........These are all examples of stupid things to say that should pis people off.

Constructed criticism IMO is always cool. "I wish Hurt spent more time near the basket and less time 30 feet from the rim." "I love Tre but he needs to take better care of the ball." "I wish Wendell dribbled a lot less."

Challenging K should be fine too as long as it's in context. For example, I will go to my grave thinking that K failed last years team. He failed to install an offense, he failed to keep our guys motivated, etc.

My thoughts are who cares and why do you care? Why don’t you like it? Is it affecting you? Ima take a wild guess and say you’re worried about what other fans say lol.....? The dudes won 5 titles, he can say and do whatever he wants, he's earned that for me. He’s not perfect like some of our spoiled fans want him to be, but would you trade him? NOPE

Sky, we've been through the hard times in Duke basketball, and know how fortunate we are to have the GOAT. K can lose the next 50 games in a row, and I'll have his back. Of course we don't have to worry about that, 'cause K pisses excellence.
