It’s early…but it appears that Williams may be this team’s Almonor. Nothing wrong with that as long as he’s a good teammate and provide minutes when called upon.

Almonor was clutch as €uck!

I would kill to replace him with Williams right now.

I'm hoping that Kam will be in contention for a starting spot or at least the top one or two off the bench. But, to say he needs to start over Noah right away due to Noah missing every shot is to say the least a stretch. You need to go back and look at the box scores again from the 3 "games" we have played. Perhaps you got the two players mixed up. lol

Not at all. I know enough basketball though and some guys play better off the bench. Others need a jolt of confidence being a starter might give them. Only a small sample of games so far so let’s see a few more and see what plays out.

I’m definitely not going to write him off after 2 games, but anyone being honest has to admit that he’s underwhelmed relative to expectations in those 2 games, and really even in the exhibitions. He was billed over the offseason as an NBA level athlete and a knockdown shooter, but so far he’s not standing out at all when he’s on the floor and is in a deep shooting slump.

Hopefully he can get more comfortable over time and settle in to making some contributions now that we’re getting healthier and the lineup can start to gel. We could definitely still use the type of player he was supposed to be.
