I watched it. Good game, but their best game against Dukes best, call me a homer, but I'll take my boys all day. The only team I'm scared of is the team that showed up against NC State. If you have watched both of these teams when they play, both has had extremely close games against teams I thought they would blow out based on records. Nobody is that far ahead of anybody else in the top 15 teams this year. I watch as many teams and games as I can. Time will tell soon enough. They all better bring it every night.
this is me totally I just question having good duke for 6 straight. One game like the other day we’re out even in round 1
I don't ever expect to see that Duke team ever again this year. I have not seen a Duke team play that bad in many years. But just as bad as that game was, these boys have proved to me game after game when they fight, they have been in every close game this year with a full roster. Body of work is most important to me.

I dont think we can blame wendell moore being out for our 2 losses anymore. The first 10-15 games of the year our defense looked elite and now with moore back we are getting torched. Since K wants to play the defense so far out teams are just spreading us out now and exploiting the huge lanes. Johnson said after the game there plan was to spread us out and exploit our pressure and damn if they didnt make it look easy
I don't recall blaming anything. More stating facts. I've been watching Duke play pretty much all my life and even some of the dominant teams got wore out at times. Crap happens. I've also seen Duke beat down good teams and get called world beaters. I just don't take a few losses and look for every flaw without applying the same principle when they skull drag somebody
For me, I try to stay even kill instead of exaggerating every win or loss. Don't make me right or wrong, maybe just different.
The closest game to compare the other night to is Miami 2015, where they beat us like a rented drum. The Miami point guard, and Coach Laranaga, said very similar things as State’s Johnson did. All of it true. In 15, K took notice to those comments. Hope he knows what was said by Johnson too.
I feel KS has improved since we played them - especially Dobson at PG. Baylor shows what you can do when you bring in a bunch of transfers! Good CBB game though.
Well, we’re gonna need Justin Robinson to step up then and start a brawl and then pick up a stool with the intent to throw. They’ve been clicking ever since that incident
Absolutely correct. I'm sure he will. I remember the ACC tournament game against State that same year when Duke wore State out after losing to them in the regular season. Winslow was talking junk and telling them they weren't ready for that adjustment lol. K will remember that as well as the team when they come to CIS.
I enjoy a good game for sure. Its always nice to catch other teams playing and see ho they look, even against lesser competition.
oof, between that and what happened last night in cameron. I sincerely hope we dismantle them the next time we play them.
I'm going to assume some guys will remember that when they meet again. They can say what they want because they won. I can say watching that game again, it was more of them hitting every shot they threw up pretty much. It's all good. Bless their little hearts.
I actually like when other coaches or players say these things. It helps K see our shortcomings. Many fans have said the same type of things over the years. But we are just fans. A players comments are a reflection on their coach’s game plan.
If we can get over these consistent slow starts we will be fine. We need a dog. Last year we had competitive beasts in RJ and Zion. This year we don’t have that. We need a good hype man in the starting five. We’re super talented. I wish it could be Vernon that sets the tone. If he gets mean then we will win the whole thing. If not, we will have battles but still can win. Definitely have to changed up the defense when the other team is killing us though.
