Do you think that god awful turf in Kansas had anything to do with OU's early struggles? They looked slow, especially Hurts and there were players slipping.

It probably had a little to do with some of the slipping.
But, the offense has the advantage on a "bad" field because they know which way they are going to go and the defense doesn't.
Kansas had to play on the same field.

I think the delayed start kind of was a factor. Seemed like the hangover like that one Taco Tech game in Norman. Missing 2 starting OT as well.

noticed that too SM but the field was wet so i wouldn't sweat it too much. Next-level athletic guys like OUrs (Hurts, Rambo, Lamb, etc) normally can execute those amazing cuts and slashes, but the footing's a lot less reliable on slippery grass.
