Kansas saw its streak of six championships in in-season tournaments end. Dayton won six days after losing to Austin Peay at UD Arena.
This is Dayton’s first victory against a top-four team since it beat No. 3 DePaul 72-71 on Feb. 18, 1984, on The Shot by Ed Young.
Dayton beat Kansas for the first time since the 1968 NIT final and avenged an 90-84 overtime loss to the Jayhawks in the Maui Invitational in 2019.
Dayton overcame a 10-point halftime deficit

No to worry, as Baylor appears to be the "Real Deal," so you can continue to live vicariously through the Bears. By the way, did you buy a Baylor natty t-shirt and hang a Baylor natty banner in your man cave?

That last shot was amazing with the bounce it took. Dayton kept their cool after the first shot was blocked.
