West Virginia football features two of the top graded PFF cornerbacks

The West Virginia football program will feature two of the top graded cornerbacks in the Big 12 according to PFF in transfers Jordan Scruggs and Michael Coats.
The duo are listed as two of the top three graded cornerbacks in the Big 12 with Iowa State cornerback Jontez Williams representing the other player on the list.
Scruggs, 5-foot-11, 172-pounds, spent last season at South Alabama where he graded out at 81.1 overall. The transfer cornerback is coming off a season with the Jaguars where he recorded 70 tackles and an interception and was the first transfer commitment for head coach Rich Rodriguez this winter.
Coats, 5-foot-10, 180-pounds, was at Nevada where he graded out at 80.8 at the position. Coats is coming off a season where he earned All-Mountain West First Team honors after starting all 13 games.
The Mississippi native led the team with both 17 passes defended and 4 interceptions and also recorded a total of 41 tackles.
