If you're down 3 of your top8 or so players, it's going to drastically change your team. Is Kansas minus 3 players better than a D2 school? Absolutely. Could that D2 school beat a D1 team with 3 injuries? Also true, even if unlikely. That Kansas team last night, as is, wouldn't be a top25 team, maybe not near it.
The other problem is, after watching Harris for like 6 years, he's a streaky scorer at BEST.. and at worst he's a poor mans Michael Carter Williams with his shot. I think he's a solid player IF you have talent around him. But it's really like asking Savir Wheeler to run the offense and get buckets, it's just not gonna work.
So not surprised that a depleted Kansas team that's left with Harris, was going to struggle. Doesn't mean arkansas isn't good. Two things can be true, and I think a good 40 or 50 teams were gonna beat THAT Kansas team last night.
