Sounds like he is going to stay in the race just to piss off Trump and take away a few delegates and make it more difficult to reach the magic number prior to the convention.

I'm curious to see if he picks up Rubio's votes. If he can.pool the establishment support, he can get some more wins. Romney is going to be his new best friend too. Maybe that gets Kasich a few more.

Kasich has to know......even if he gains momentum from yesterday's more-convincing-than-I-expected, at least win.....he still has virtually zero long-term prospects with delegate count.

Which means he's got some form of end game in mind to hang around; though staying in the race virtually ensures Trump.....who's the most immature Presidential candidate in the history of mankind......and who's dying for a 2-man race with Crooze.....will foster a personal vendetta against him. If so, there goes his hope for VP or a Cabinet job in a Trump administration.

So, if it's not a job with Trump, what is it ??

Brokered convention that ends up nominating the last establishment guy standing.

In other words, Kasich better be sure he wins the election.....because he'd be about as welcome in the Republican washroom as Bubba and Hillary and Al Sharpton combined.

I simply find it hard to believe he's prepared to be remembered as the driver of a brokered GOP convention as part of his legacy. Of course.....assuming he's not elected as our next President.....perhaps he's already prepared to leave public office afterward and return to the private sector, perhaps to Wall Street.

If so, than maybe becoming the Republican equivalent of Typhoid Mary doesn't matter to him.

I'm pretty certain the GOP is positioning for him to be their brokered candidate.

John Boehner said he supports Kasich for the nomination, but he would support Paul Ryan if it were a brokered convention.

Ryan said he wouldn't accept, he's got his cush job already. Right now the idea would be to get the public to accept a nomination other than Trump or Cruz. They don't have to put a candidate out in public until right before the convention so it's not a total shock.
