Been a few years since I've been to Keenland. Is it easy to get a flask inside? Not worried too much about buying drinks there, but did want to take a flask for tailgating and not worry about having it confiscated for just carrying it on me when I go into the actual track area. Thanks!

You shouldn't have any problem. Make sure you have it a plastic one. Put your weed in your sock.

Thanks for the response. Taking the Mrs for the first time and we just wanted to have a few drinks before going in. Going to be a long day doing the Keenland/Commonwealth double.

If you're only worried about drinking before why even take a flask? If you do for some reason still want to take an empty flask in be aware that they've started making you lift up your jacket and show your belt line/back pockets.

Oh I just wanted to have something to nip on if we found some buddies tailgating or something w/out having to worry about packing a cooler. We are actually taking the shuttle from our hotel downtown, so I was just asking to see if it was even worth taking. We may just not worry about it and enjoy what should be perfect weather for Keenland and, later, tailgating. Thanks for letting me know.

Surprisingly, I've never tried to sneak a flask, but I can't imagine you'd have any trouble. Honestly, I'm kind of embarrassed I've never taken any bourbon in with me now that I think about it. Have fun.

No flask. Just had a few beers in the parking lot and got a drink once we got in, though it wouldn't have been hard at all if I had it in my back pocket. They very quickly searched the inside of my vest by simply having me open it up and looked at it and then looked into my wife's purse briefly.
