I wouldn’t mind playing UC again. We should have rivals and I love trophies. They are more fun to play than, for example, EKU. Also a drivable game for both fan bases, which means a better chance at good attendance.

Cincy is going to need a game now that UConn is bailing. Maybe Wichita State will start football.

If I’m not mistaken the ACC is going to 9 games. That will make it nearly impossible

This post comes up on the board every now and again from BC-Nip. Really envious we still have the keg of nails lol. I think it would actually be a really good series to start up again. We have one coming up with IU though, and then USF so it won’t be for a good while.

If The ACC goes to 9 conference games it will be difficult for the game to be scheduled.

9+UK= 10 games of 12 games already scheduled each season. Those two games will most likely always be home games.

9+UK+Notre Dame= 11 games of 12 already scheduled each season. The remaining game will be a home game.

With games already scheduled against Ole Miss, UCF, USF and Indiana, not a whole of games available the next few years.

These trophies have almost no meaning once the teams stop playing. I wouldn't be surprised if UofL has lost it somewhere downtown again. It's no longer needed.

I don't see any advantage to scheduling UC for UofL. Also, they left us for dead in the Metro, so why should we help them now?

It was stated, we simply don't have the room for the next several years with a packed non-conference slate.

You’re mistaken. The ACC basketball schedule expands to 20 games this year, but there are no plans to expand the conference football schedule from 8 to 9 games.

With 8 ACC games, UK home and home, and Notre Dame every 3rd season, there aren’t many spots open in the UofL non-conference schedule. We do have some scheduling availability beginning in 2023, and it looks like UC does, too....

"Close to winning a division"? What's wrong with you guys, you're hanging your hat on almost winning a football division? Maybe the AAC isn't so bad after all....

Yeah, bro, the AAC is so much better than the ACC. Why did we leave? We walked into the ACC and came a play from winning it and beating the national champions, winning a heisman, expanding our stadium, and growing our brand.

Meanwhile, UC still broke. Still in a high school stadium and still wishing they had a keg. Go eat your ****** diarrhea looking chili and enjoy Bobby Mackeys. Bum.

Eh, I'm fine with shipping the trophy back to UC if you want it. Consider it a goodbye present.

Does anyone know where this trophy is? We’ve moved on to better, high end beer. No need for a keg of Cincinnati sewage

Bobby prolly gave it to the volleyball office to piss in

I don’t ever recall the Bearcats bringing more than 1,000 fans to any Keg game in Louisville ... so call me skeptical that UC fans could help us fill anything other than one plastic party cup.

This is a photo from 2014. It was on display then by the governor's cup. A lot has changed at the complex since, so who knows? I'd imagine it's still on display. Recruits like to see stuff like that.

Having that keg locked up is criminal! Roll it out!

It seems to mean something to him. Maybe we should just give it to him as a humanitarian gesture.

Appreciate your kindness but F that, bro. That punk came to OUR board begging for OUR keg that we repeatedly beat their brains in for.

Bro, that keg might be sitting on a stage at PTs for all I care. Fact is that it’s ours and it’s never going back to the Nasti, bro. Shame that we ever considered that lame *** city and school a rival, SMMFH.

ACC has not agreed to go to 9 games. We play ND about once every 3 years. I would play UC on the years we don’t play ND. But I’m old now & no one’s listens. ;)

I'm 1000% in on playing UC in bball and fball again. They should be in the ACC with us. It was the rivalry that was the most fun in both sports year in and year out. I miss it.

Totally disagree, as is my right. Cincy brings NOTHING to the table especially attendance and/or money. That whole town suck as they hate Louisville lock, stock and barrel. They (UCincy) can rot as far as I’m concerned.

NO to Cincy period. They are still a recruiting rival and we’ve been having some success with HS’s in that area. There is no reason to “help” them in that regard. Plus the only way I’d put them on our schedule is a minimum of a 2 for 1 scenario. I feel exactly the same way about Memphus State by the way. They (Cincy) just don’t bring people to their away games unless it’s Miami of Ohio and only because they are only about 15 miles apart.

I just thought the games and rivalry were fun, even in the heat of the tougher moments. Personally I'd rather play them every year than the lame *** cross division game with UVA.

Well UVA is ACC and it’s dictated by the conference. Would you give up our ACC spot to play Cincy? I sure as hell wouldn’t.

You’re talking about the lame a$$ UVA that keeps kicking our a$$es in BB? Yeah I’m not thinking their to lame. I have little use for UC. My opinion is we need to start beating our fellow ACC teams and not worry about throwing UC a bone.

Not UVA, which I want to keep. But UC is better than an EKU.
