Pretty crazy for a freshmen!
I think coach Collins has done a pretty good job in his time here.
Smith must have been pretty good covering to do that. And we hardly ever saw them throw his way. Seemed that every game the QB was looking for our #14 the majority of the times they passed the ball.
Both corners were outstanding. Congrats to Keidron.
Because 14 plays back side man while 1 was in zone. That's why noone threw at 1, because he didn't have a man, he had an area.
For the past few years, I defended Valentine on this board from much of the same post. I'm glad many fans now see he was actually good all along, except now he's grown into really good
It's fine.... not a whole lot of awards But I would take this defense's productivity every year in a heart beat... They were put in a bad position ALL year long by the inept offense. Guessing we averaged less than 15 points a game scored against us without the bad field position and turnovers.
Do you study replays of the games? Not trying to be disrespectful just curious. Yes, he has gotten better. But still giving up too much. So let's just say too inconsistent. Makes it even harder for him when he is being looked for. Could point out several plays this year but won't. One I'm sure you may remember is his man catching the winning pass in the Vandy game. But, he must be the best we have for that position and will say he has gotten better. But definitely not a Trevard Lindley.
