Curious why the staff felt the need to go juco at cb.. We are very deep at that position unless they are looking at safety...

All programs go after JUCO guys... Whether they're deep at that position or not. You can never have enough depth. One injury away

I agree.. Except we have limited scholarships this year... Our dline and LB are thinner than our secondary... Was just curious why they went juco at db!

We've got 2 DL commits in the 2017 class. (Phil Hoskins (JUCO) and Quinton Bohanna) and 2 LB's (Alex King and Jamin Davis) and could be adding BJ Sharpe to the DL list and maybe Justin Foster to the LB

Top 50 JUCO player. Could be trying to arrange scholarships for availability sooner than later? Perhaps building strength among special teams? Not sure, but he has several offers from Power 5 schools, so probably worth the risk.

Makes me wonder if they expect westry to go pro after nexr year?? I sure wouldn't have a problem with that! Still think we are to thin at dline and LB.

You dont turn down a top 50 juco at uk regardless what position he plays.. But from a # stand point we have bell, miggons, elam, meant, laster, love, bonner, hyde,as jr/sr.. Believe pringle is a so.not sure! In the secondary we have harmon, mcwilson, mclain,Randolph. as jr/sr... Either way with the studs signed last year, our db position looks very good the next few years..

I sure wish we had the old Wildcat Lair when all the team roster, depth chart, schedules, stats, recruiting, etc etc etc etc was just a click of the mouse away at the top of the page.

WTF, almost as bad as what happened to the Official UK Athletics Site, no, a lot worse, I used it a lot more.

Three Seniors, one full time corner that will leave early, another talented corner that got his feet wet a bit last year and three incoming unproven Frosh ain't exactly the definition of deep unless you're Calipari.

Exactly! Nothing wrong with adding a talented guy to allow the young corners time to develop.

Building a rep for DBs. It started slow, but this year will begin the rep. And, the need for more DBs on the field is great with today's offenses.

Well, there is a subject in which we are in 100% agreement. I really miss the various pull down menus that made is so easy to find stats and get info on your team and other teams. The new Yahoo formats are an enormous step backwards. Lots of "extra clicking" with this new, improved format. [poop]

Peace

Since they had it all before it is obvious that it can be done, I wonder why they can't go back to it, they can keep a couple of the new wrinkles if they like.
