Reload? They sucked this year. Both of them. And so it begins. Duke and Kentucky have yet another way to reload.
I mean they brought in two big transfers this year (Sarr and Mintz) and still suckedAnd there it is. The portal is now the solution for the blue bloods that would otherwise need to be reloading with multilateral “one and done” true freshmen.
Now Calipari can bring in one and dones as freshmen AND high performing upperclassmen through the portal.
Yay
Andrew GazeI don't think it would be much fun watching a team of one-and-dones, where every year you need to buy a program just to keep track of who your players are each year. It also calls into question the entire question of what constitutes a student-athlete. Reminds me of the SHU "hire an Aussie" strategy back in the late 1980s. I forget the guy's name but he showed up on campus in October and left in April after playing in the Final Four (IIRC). He never even completed one semester. That hardly qualifies as a student athlete.
