Kendal knows the playbook inside out. I doubt Bryant would start but he would make for a good backup. Next year we will be solid at QB with both Kendal and Tanner. Tanner has looked better then I thought and with an extra year under his belt. Riley will have him ready.

Bryant will transfer where he's a sure starter.

Who’s to say Rattler won’t start next year? He’s the only truly elite (5*) QB in This incoming class. Kid is off the chain.

I think it is time for Sooner QB’s to develop and move into a starting role after Kyler moves on MLB. Not sure Bryant is a good fit.

Assuming Kendall has returned to good health and with Mordecai on the roster, and with Rattler coming in next year, OU doesn't need Bryant.

Kelly Bryant isn't a good QB. Go find the Clemson at A&M game and watch it a couple of times. Kelly Bryant isn't close to Austin Kendall. I think Tanner is going to be very good and like someone else pointed out Rattler will be great. I think if Rattler could come in this January he might have a shot at beating out both Kendall and Tanner. Coming in next Summer will make it really hard to compete with Kendall. Lots of people discount Kendall, but he has a good arm and is very accurate.

I wouldn't want Kelly Bryant at OU. He just wouldn't be a good addition.

I think he will be good but he's a true freshman and OU offense isn't something he can learn in the summer. I heard he's not graduating early to play BB,

Kyler Murray was the only 5* quarterback last year, but a walk-on 3* started and won the Heisman.
