What's up with him? True soph DE who played sparingly in '15, his dad has posted here in the past. Apparently hasn't played so far, is he hurt or RSing? Anybody?

I come across an old post of his while scanning older threads. Seemed to be excited at that time for his son but have not seen him around.

I know he would know the low down on whats going on behind the scenes but prob unwilling to devulge info publically.

He needs to play! Kash Needs to play etc.. If you have not heart (cough cough) ELAM! You shouldnt be out there period. Been waiting on Kengra to get a shot cause it sure the hell will not hurt. Plus Hyde no way Hyde is worse then Elam. I like to See Hyde out there I bet he would bring more passion then Elam.

He's one of the reasons we should play more 4-3. I'm not one of the ditch the 3-4 crowds but different personnel fits different systems. Right now we have a lot of players that I believe better fit a 4-3. For starters we don't really have an OLB for the 4-3. But mostly our DE's are more of the 4-3 type than 3-4 types. In Daniel's case he would have to gain about 30 more pounds of muscle.

I have seen all the Elam I need to see on the field. Time for Kengera to play.

Not sure what kind of player Hyde actually is, but if we had about 30 more guys who shared is personality and devotion towards UK football the program would be a lot better off.

If I was coach say starting today 1 st thing we would do is Oklahoma drillslike 4:30am sharp in morning before breakfast!!. Do the Dlines and DE's first. Have matchups. Who ever wins thise Gets to play. Who has heart will play. Who loses these will sit!! Force them and I bet there would be a different player at Nose guard..you be in the practice facility at 4am or you will not play. I dont care if your Barker,Boom,Love whoever. I would have an assisstant coach at the door. Whoever doesnt make it will sit! I would run military type discipline. If you dont like it. We can sign transfer papers at end of day. Its time to go hard or go home!

Yeah I'm wondering whats going on with Kengera too. His dad used to post all the time on here about him, but hasn't in months. Wonder what is the deal? I find it hard to believe hes not good enough to play on our horrendous DL.

Having to play teams with more talent and depth is common for UK but to play with no heart in any game is unacceptable. Play the Kentucky kids, if they fail it won't be from not trying hard.

Run this thru again and see if anybody knows about Daniel. Maybe some of the experts on this site can tear themselves away from interviewing some basketball prospect's next door neighbor's plumber's third cousin long enough to answer a question about a current player on a current roster.

I think you people are insane if you think KD's dad is going to say ANYTHING right now.

If he posts something along the lines of "Things are going to be fixed" he will be attacked for supporting the current regime.

If he posts that the program is a dumpster fire, he puts a very large target on his son's back.

If he posts something that is completely unobjectionable and middle of the road, he's going to be hounded by people here seeking more information.

He's walking a very thin line as a parent....I think he's doing the right thing by his son to stay the hell out of it.

That being said, I'm looking forward to seeing his boy play.

Maybe you've misunderstood what I asked. I'm interested in the status of this young man, I haven't asked for a comment or comments from the dad. Sorry if I gave that impression. I'd like to know if ANYONE knows what his situation is? Is he hurt or RSing? Apparently no one knows or is saying which I find interesting. Again, I'm not asking for a comment or comments from the dad and sorry if that was the way my original post was understood if that was the case.

The last place players parents should be doing right now is publicly saying anything on a message board about their kid or the program. In fact, they should stay as far away from social media as possible.

I am pretty sure KD redshirted last year.

He's a redshirt freshman, so not having seen him play at this point isn't particularly shocking.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a ton of players get reps during the New Mexico game. Gotta think the coaches are going to be playing a lot of people, looking for playmakers

According to the 2015 UK stat sheets Daniel played in 3 games. He's true soph.

Thanks for the correction.

At any rate, I hope we get to see plenty of new faces this coming week. We need to see what we have to work with going forward.

It is always tough for players and their families when they are not playing, especially when the team is losing.

True, I'l like to see more of Young at LT and Stenburg at LG. TJ Carter played fairly well as a true fr DE Sat. Middleton, Dubose, Pringle and Taylor also played in the DL, made some plays and probably should've made more but they were in there fighting. I want to see Kash and Bonner at LB and boy, does UK need Safety help.

It got lost with how horrible the defense played but I liked what I seen from Pringle. I'd be fine with making him the starter at this point and let Elam back him up.
