FINALLY got an answer to a question about soph DE Kengera Daniel and his status, a question Rowland has ignored more than once. Stoops said in today's presser he's been suspended but will be available after the SCAR game.

Now the question becomes why not go ahead and RS him now that 4 games has been pissed away?

I though Jeff Drummond said KD is eligible this week.

One thing Kentucky doesn't need is discipline trouble, over the years we have had more than our share and we are not even very good, it's one thing to be really good and have them, meaning you can overcome some of it, but to have to be having to do it when your not that good is crazy. What goes on up there, it's not just this year either, if they kids don't want to play and or follow rules, don't come here. I was high on him and like lots of others hadn't heard anything lately and now find out he is suspended, all I can do is shake my head.

The attached is from an article in the LHL last week and is apparently a transcript of a Q&A with Eliot. Why couldn't they just come and out say he is under suspension instead of giving a vague answer. It's none of my business as to what got him suspended, but there's no need to play I've got a secret about this either. To me, this is just another illustration of the veil of secrecy and/or incompetence in how the staff is managing the players on the roster.

On if Kengera Daniel is a guy they’re trying to work in more:
“Yes. We’ll be working him in, um, in the next couple of games for sure.”

Sometimes players have to get something done to get out of the doghouse. Maybe the length of his suspension was not definite?

On the glass is half full side, I am happy that KD just has not regressed. I prefer the non-football reason for him not being in the mix to the football reason. I just wish he was back for USCjr.
