What's happened is that Kentucky has had to found some defensive improvements because it has been frankly abysmal at times. At the same time, some teams have played so far above the consistent level of quality they have played for the season, and we're used to seeing teams and guys just "having that kind of night" where we couldn't stop them or their team.... i guess the good games teams plays against us balances out with the bad nights.
But our defense has definitely improved.
I'd say the addition of Noah, Perry, and Chandler has kept the motion of defense and effort levels consistently higher than it was pre-injury wise for the team. I don't know if the stats back that up, but it SEEMS that way. I like to see them all active.
