Canceling out TTech , they have only beaten VaT by a score of more than what the spread is for UK and that includes Aappy St and Ohio U. and lost to SC!!80% of the time the line is very close to correct imo. Rare for it to be off by alot. I don't like seeing that high number
. Makes me alittle sad. The ref's are going cheat us left and right. 5+ pass interference calls, holding calls on big runs, and offsides on 3rd downs are in our future....
Too many people think this to be true.80% of the time the line is very close to correct imo. Rare for it to be off by alot. I don't like seeing that high number

You ALWAYS hear or remember when the spread is close to spot on... NEVER hear or remember when it isn't close.
The lines are wrong much more often than 20% of the time.
A lot of people also think Vegas sets lines, but in actuality the market sets the lines.
UK has a much better chance to win than the spread would indicate IMO. What I worry about it is we're at the end of this long stretch of competitive games and Tennessee is coming off a bye week (essentially)
Exactly. Baffles me the constant misinterpretation of the lines and Vegas' roleThat;'s somewhat true, Vegas wants half the money bet on each team, their profit comes from the fees. They don't want any big payouts on a single game. So basically they are running it with the bettors money and have none of theirs involved.
Bettors do not set the initial lines. Bettors cause all of the movement in the lines.Too many people think this to be true.

Our game is a perfect example. Line opens at 15 and quickly goes to 11. Why did it move to 11? Vegas didn't move it, The market did.Bettors do not set the initial lines. Bettors cause all of the movement in the lines.
It is not that hard to figure out.
Pardon my idiocy, but what does that number mean? +12.5?
