Jordan gives up a 4 pitch walk, the first of the afternoon. Back to back and they are going to go to a new pitcher. Cole Ayers now coming in.
Ayers gets a strikeout against his first batter. ARod runs one down in short left for an infield fly for out two. UK one out away from getting out of trouble. A base hit into right and Shelby comes up firing... a play at the plate and Shelby throws him out!!!!
Shinn grounds one up the middle that gets booted and Shinn reaches on the error. Kessler puts one down the line for a single to right and Shinn slides under the tag at third, Kessler moves up on the throw. ARod intentionally walked. Bases full of Cats.
Finally got my Sunday tasks done so I can listen to the last of the game. Was disappointed that Ben Jordan didn't get things straightened out. Heard that on the drive home. Too bad for Schultz.

Degen goes 3-2 again before giving up a seeing eye single. Kid seems to have some potential. Ellington now in left. Strikeout for Degen.
UK with an interesting shift on Phillip's with 4 outfielders. He pops out to short. Good inning by Degen.
Rook takes a 3-1 pitch off the wall and hits a double before getting thrown out trying to stretch it into a triple.

Rook Ellington trying too hard on that double. It's great that we'll end the weekend averaging over 10 runs a game while giving up less than 3.5 runs per. I'd love if they had given up fewer runs but they gave a lot of kids a chance to see what they could do in live action.
