Players adopt the coach’s mentality and personality. It has always been that way.

When your top two point guards are out, this is what’s going to happen more times than not. It’s hard to watch but he’s trying everything, we just don’t have horses. This is how much Kerr and Butler mean to this team. It’s going to be hard to win anymore games with both of them out.
Take 5 random posters here on RR and I think they could put up at least 75 points on our defense.

Robinson finally did something!! Now freaking at least try to guard somebody!!! He is in every clip getting roasted on d! Why did he take Perry out? He actually gave us a lift and at least get the ball up the floor! Chandler is just pissing everyone off at this point, he is useless, can't even make a layup. I think you are the one who is confused by what coaches and players do. I will help you out: coaches coach and players play. If players drag ***, the coach can't go out there and play for them.

Because neither are ready for this level of play. If you have more than one of Perry, Noah, or Chandler on the floor at once you’re at a serious disadvantage. I’m fine with Perry or Noah with four of the starters. Just can’t have them on floor together. At one point we had Perry, Noah, Garrison, and a hobbled Carr out there together. Not shockingly, their lead grew while that lineup turned it over. Then down 13 he puts Chandler in who immediately causes a 10 sec call looking like a MS kid when they picked up full court. Popes lineups are just goofy when he goes to the bench. Too often and too long.
Defense isn't going to stop turn around jump shot prayers or step back threes. These teams are just making some ridiculous shots.
Even when we play good defense, they kit difficult shots
6 weeks to make a complete roster... We knew it had issues.... And injuries just made it worse... We could have lost 2 players.... And still semi rolled... But not both PGs.. Not many teams in all of basketball could have done that, and still kept that same top 10-15 level of play.. Even more so in your first year... Pope's seat won't be warm... This was a throw away year, that happened to almost be something special before injuries took over..
Dykes hates us. He is not even mentioning the amount of injuries we have this year.
The only way we are beating anyone at this point is if we have a game where we are shooting decent and the opponent can't throw it in the ocean. Until we are healthy that is is.
